The Influence of Emotional Intelligence on Job Performance in Hotel-X at Gading Serpong, Tangerang
Emotional Intelligence has become a familiar issue in the industry, especially to the hospitality industry. Emotional intelligence can be used to judge the employee job performance in the workplace. the purpose of this study is to identify how can the emotional intelligence can give the influence to the employee job performance, especially to the employee in hotel-x. the influence of emotional intelligence on job performance is still unknown. Therefore, the framework, which is the influence of emotional intelligence on job performance are using the theory of Robbins and Hunsaker Theory, together with the theory from the journals. This research has 51 respondents from four operational departments in hotel-x . Thus,SPSS program has been used to analyze. the result of the analysis is that the emotional intelligence gives a small influence to the employee job performance in hotel-x.
