Assessment of information system maturity at SGU using Cobit framework

In every organization, IT usage is obliged to show that it is providing value to the organization. IT usage at SGU is no different they need to conduct assessment to measure their maturity level of its information system to measure their current capability as a baseline to grow more in the future. The assessment itself is conducted by using COBIT framework by conducting assessment using COBIT framework it is expected that IT will increase the value base on business requirements over SGU. The assessment focused on domain Plan and Organise the first domain in COBIT framework. Assessment results show that maturity level at SGU in this domain is 1.83. It is found that human resource management, quality management, and project management are some aspects that need to be taken care more.
