Nowadays, camera surveillance has become a trend in security technology. People can observe the situation of a room or a location by using monitors whose pictures are visualized directly from cameras located in the room or at certain place.rnrnRecently, there's a new demand for technology that enables people to carry out surveillance of a room or a location remotely. The high mobility of people makes it impossible for them to sit in front of surveillance monitor just to observe the situation.rnrnAn idea to meet the demand is to create a surveillance system that will capture an image that shows the condition of a room or location and sends it in the form of a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) image to user's mobile phone. The picture taking is triggered by the request message in form of a Short Message Service (SMS). With this technology, users can carry out surveillance remotely just by sending an SMS and receive the image in their mobile phone
