The Implementation of PDA and wireless technology in an elevator system

The primary purpose of this research paper is to build an application which runs in PDA and to be used in an elevator system. The benefit of implementing PDA in an elevator system is to solve the elevator maintenance problem. Without it, the technician needs to go up to the ceiling or to the control room and plug a serial cable to an elevator controller. rnrnThe methodology which will be used for this research paper is Software Engineering methodology. Several types of UML will be used to design and build the PDA application.rnrnThe finding and conclusion of this research paper is it is possible to establish a connection between PDA and the elevator controller wirelessly, since PDA has Bluetooth installed as standard. PDA can function properly as a diagnostic tool in an elevator system. In the end, the difficulty in maintenance can be eliminated.
