IT architecture analysis and design for e-KTP (electronic Indonesian national identification card) integration with e-voting (electronic Indonesia general election)
This research would help actualizing e-voting process in the entire Indonesia area byrnusing e-KTP (Electronic Indonesian Identification Card) as authentication andrnvalidation tools. E-voting enables voters to cast their votes from a TPS (pollingrnstation) other than the TPS in their area; ensures that one person could only votesrnonce; reduces the overall cost (money, time, and resources) of conducting an election;rnand delivers voting results more reliably, securely, accurately and quickly. Thernmethodologies include paper researches about world?s e-voting process andrnIndonesian official regulations about election processes and procedure.rnThe application of e-voting would solve almost all of traditional election processrnproblems, and yet offering some additional benefits with relatively lower cost. With e-rnvoting, the time of election is reduced up to 40%. People should no more worry aboutrnunreliable results and any possibilities of crime/fraud because e-voting system wouldrnhandle all of these problems, and deliver the overall results within 1 day.
