The Performance and Security in Local Area Network - Case Study at Swiss German University

Information Technology has been widely recommended to improve teaching and learning for most university. As the use of technology increases, universities required to developed Information Technology Infrastructure and Security of educational information has become an increasing concern to management. This concern has developed as the rate of computer-related crime has risen, particularly in the areas of fraud, theft, sabotage and hacking.rnrnThe purpose of this research study is to improve the Performance and Security of Swiss German University in Local Area Network. The properties that emerged from this study are Technology planning and Analysis of current network that the implementation of this research to support decision about improving the uses of technology in Information Technology. A major implications will need to fully address the properties of an effective Information Technology plan to be successful in creating and improving Swiss German University network infrastructure.
