The Implementation of Decision Support System (DSS) in civil administration information system (SIAK) for government's labor development planning

Ministry of Internal Affair of Indonesian Republic (Mendagri) has developed SIAK tornmanage civil administration in Indonesia. This system contains a vast amount of civilrndata. In making strategic decisions, the executives need to be supported by strategicrndata. Therefore the purpose of this thesis is to develop a user-friendly yet effectivernDSS that will provide government decision makers essential data from SIAK.rnThis research will focus on the implementation of DSS to forecast the possible futurernlabor and give the suggestion to Governor (Head of Region) the allocation of thatrnlabor based on their demographic and geographical position. To choose the right DSSrndesign, the implementation has to be surveyed of DSS from other countries and fieldsrnsuch as private companies. The author will design a web-based DSS portal torntransform the raw data stored in SIAK into a user-friendly and interactive interface.rnMySQL will be used as the database server and PHP will be used as the applicationrnlanguage.
