Developing an online shop product search engine using API of Amazon and Ebay
In line with current technological developments, internet access also develops rapidly. This makes it very useful for merchants who want to introduce their products. However convenient it is for the consumers who have more and more choice, as well as faster transactions as online markets expand, it is not as convenient as previously hoped, because the existence of numerous online markets makes it hard for anyone to find exactly what they wanted. In view of the above existing obstacle, i have designed an application that can help online customers find the exact item they wanted ? detailed specifications, price comparison, and visualisation. I take the details of the items we display from the 2 largest, most active online stores: eBay and Amazon. I call this application ?Xatoo?. I use the technology of web 2.0 and API for our protocol and tools, which allows Xatoo to connect with the database of these two major online stores. The usage of UML methodology in the modeling process prior to programming allows the programmer to determine, visualize, develop, and document an informational system. UML itself was developed as object-oriented tool for analysis and design. I hope that by creating this application, i.e. Xatoo, I can help buyers to find and look in detail the items that they want to buy, and to make direct price comparisons.
