On-time delivery (otd) is very essential in business activities; one of the most important factors to win the competition is otd, besides quality of product, price, after sales services and other factors that influence buyers' behavior. Time has become a major competitive weapon in today's competition. Being able to respond rapidly to customer's request is often the critical skill for obtaining and retaining valuable customer's business.rnrnThe otd achievements of hot rolled coil (hrc) steel product of pt krakatau steel is relatively low, around 65%, compared with the world class steel producers such as posco from korea and nippon steel from japan which perform at the level of 95%.rnrnThere are five major business processes identified in contributing on-time delivery performances of hot-rolled coil steel product of pt.
