Meaningful KPI and effective internal audit in quality management system based on ISO/TS 16949 - a case study of PT. CCC, an electronic device assembly plant
This research is a case study on p.t. Ccc, an electronics device assemblyrnPlant outside jakarta, indonesia. The purpose is to study the phenomenonrnWhere p.t. Ccc has been implementing quality management system basedrnOn iso/ts 16949 requirements for automotive parts suppliers for five yearsrnBut cannot achieve its company quality targets.rnThe researcher has conducted simple quantitative analysis on the gaprnBetween quality targets and the results; and then conducted in-depthrnQualitative research by interviewing employees of p.t. Ccc, observingrnQuality-related activities and analyzing quality-related documents.rnThe results have concluded several weak points including the setting processrnKey performance indicators (kpis) and performing internal audit on thernQuality management system.rnFinally, this research suggests six recommendations including method to setrnMeaningful process kpis and to perform effective internal audit whichrnEncourage continual improvement, lead to the achievement of quality targetsrnAnd ultimately, lead to monetary profit for the company.
