The agility of IT is required to perform fast response to the business needs whereas the day to day IT operational consist of multiple and complex systems. IT maintains hundred systems that running on twelve hundreds servers spread across three different data centers location. The growth of the number of server year by year approximately reaches 15% and it will also increasing IT budget both Capex and Opex. The needs of policy setting to facilitate and harmonize between demand and supply among business and IT in order to create efficiency and fast response is urgently required. With conducting an FGD through assessing value and risk impact on how to develop good infrastructure management policy using standard framework with following formal process (ITIL) in order to implement in Telkomsel to achieve the cost efficiency and time to market in Telco business competition.
