This research is to evaluate the current capacity of bus rapid transit in jakarta which facing the volume and growth of jakarta population and in comparison with another transportation system in tokyo for efficiency perspective. The study is based on existing poor and sorely public transportation coverage and to propel the great jakata metropolitan population to be on par with that of a developed city. In this thesis, we found out that inefficiency of exclusive bus line named trans jakarta and elevated road such as fly over and highways to reduce jakarta?çös traffic jams.
