Analysis of industrial key buying factors on pump market to create sustainable competitive advantages: case study of PT KSB Indonesia
Tight competition of global industrial pump suppliers in indonesian market encourages the players to create value added beyond competitors. It became challenges for the manufacturers to maintain its loyal customers and competitive position in market share. The main purpose of the research is to analyze the industrial key buying factors of customers in selecting industrial pumps. Pt. Ksb indonesia intends to study the major aspects that influence customers?çö buying decisions which are used to formulate future strategy to create sustainable competitive advantages by maximizing its strengths based on customers?çö priorities in buying factors. The study will examine both internal focus group discussion (fgd) and questionnaire distribution to 40 external customers. It will be described in statistical analysis by using amos and spss software. The result shows 15 main key buying factors with ?ç£product quality?çø on the top of customers?çö priorities that are proven to create sustainable competitive advantages on pump market. The findings will be compared to previous research on a similar topic in different industry. The result is also used to address the market environment of pt. Ksb indonesia and future recommendation based on the study.
