SGU interactive brochure with augmented reality using Metaio and blender 3D
The primary purpose of this thesis is to test the compatibility Blender 3D application to make 3D object for augmented reality. The 3D object is Swiss German University area and it will be utilized to the existed brochure. There were some tests to compare the quality of 3D object to be utilized for augmented reality application. The major applications that are used to test and develop application are Metaio as a tool to make augmented reality application and Blender 3D maker application to make the 3D model as the object in the augmented reality. The application of the 3D object has been tested and ready to use to SGU brochures and also the rendered quality observation of the 3D object has been tested, and the best result from the tests is when the Blender is using internal render and the file exported as Wavefront (obj) file.
