Implementation: information security management system (isms) iso 27001:2005 on perbanas university

Information security standard is a standard for securing information and asset information in it with reference to iso 27001:2005, they call isms (information security management system), the it governance is not yet widely. The information security standard refers to the iso 27001:2005, for the writer to lift research on information security management system standards, especially on campus (university) with the iso 27001:2005 approach. Aspects of information security is already implemented into some of the companies engaged in the field of information technology in indonesia, but most of the foreign company is an extension to its branch office in indonesia, while the purely local firms (domestic) and state-owned enterprises has not led to implement an information security standard for the company.Information Systems security is very important today in the world cyber era where almost all aspects of corporate governance using the information technology network and the internet to transmit the information from one place to another so that the need for security of information that flows in it. View of all, there is need for a information security management system standard (iso 27001:2005) to be used by the campus (university) campus in general and in particular that abfii perbanas governance of information security information technology on campus to better benefit the community and education in indonesia.
