University Resources Planning: Knowledge Management Approach for Curriculum Management

In university business, the curriculum is one of the primary assets for achieving business goal. Because of the competition, universities are demanded to give the best service to the customers to deliver solutions faster, cheaper, and with higher quality. Applying knowledge management will help the university to provide accurate knowledge as input to make decision and as resources to the employee.nThis master thesis examines how to use knowledge management approach and use intranet tools to share knowledge across project and to improve the curriculum and the related subject, which will make SGU as a highly qualified university. The thesis contains studies of how to use the information system in web based internet, SGUURP and choose the appropriate methodology for KM implementation. We will implement knowledge management in this university using KM Road Map - Amrit Tiwana. In summary, by having knowledge management system implemented in Swiss German University will collapse the gap between people who need knowledge and those who can supply it, distributing know-how to real 'points of need' as and when it's needed. It provides solutions that generate living knowledge exchanges and solutions that improve corporate performance and effect culture change.
