University Resource Planning: Analysis, Design and Implementation of Academic Process

This thesis work is intended to study and develop the University Resource Planning for the Academic Process. University Resource Planning basically is the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) within the university. The works only focus in the processes of deliver services to students and lecturers. The study of this thesis contains planning, analysis, design and implementation phase.nnThe planning phase resulted in the decision of building web-based application on the intranet of SGU.nnThe analysis of the current system come up with process automation and several improvements.nnThe design will present relational database design methodology using Entity-Relationship Diagram as well as the Data Flow Diagram.nnThe development of University Resource Planning is using MicrosoftTM FrontPage for designing the user-interface, database PostgreSQL, and Apache web server installed on Linux operating system. The programming language use PHP language.
