Design Instrumentation and Control Automation

Susanto, Steve M. - Personal Name; Grueneberg, Juergen - Personal Name;

The problem to be examined involves to understand what should be most considered in order to produce a proper design engineering. This design specification covers the general requirements concerning Instrumentation and Control Automation Systems in Process Industry. When there is a statutory code of local regulations pertaining to instrumentation and control automation systems, the requirements of the code shall govern.nnThe primary purpose of this research paper is to design philosophy and general requirements for design and selection of Instrumentation and Control Automation Systems which will be implemented in Process Industry. Instrumentation systems that applied in process industry will be combination of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electric. The control automation systems shall be capable of controlling the process and utility facilities transient during start-up, normal operation, process shutdown and emergency shutdown systems.nnThe theoretical perspective for the proposed study is commonly referred to Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Pneumatic and Hydraulic, Control Technique, Sensors, Computer and Network Device, Programming and Operating. Physics and Mathematics which have been utilized in most theory based research, are useful in instrumentation.nnThe thesis will use the literature methodology, research methodology and data collection methodology in several project experiences. The research will use a cross-sectional design in several projects. The data collection method will be a closed-ended survey instrument designed to measure the variables that are being examined in this study. The literature will be use to complete the design and instrumentation in the research and data collection.
