Analyzing the value proposition of it shared services in a global insurance company
The purpose of this research is to study and analyze the value proposition of information technology shared services in a global insurance company and find out reasons why organizations are moving towards information technology shared service business model. Furthermore, through this study, internal customer survey analysis will also be gathered and used as an internal feedback to the company for further improvements. Methodology used are research objective, research design, data collection (secondary & primary ?çô questionnaire), data analysis & hypothesis, and conclusion & recommendation. This research found that higher efficiency, better quality and higher flexibility are on the top-list of several reasons why organizations move toward information technology shared service. To conclude, we have successfully identified key value propositions of information technology shared services business model in a global insurance company.
