Development of a conblock machine under optimised conditions
Conblock is one of the most significant building materials which is highly needed nowadays. Therefore, it is very necessary to create such a machine that can produce conblock, and later on can be applied to conblock producing industries in indonesia. The design of conblock producing machine discussed in this thesis employs conceptual design method based on vdi 2222. The process of the design contains these following steps as statement of problem, the making oc conceptual variants, evaluation, and finally stating the details of the design so can be continued to the making of the machine itself.nnThe calculation is done particularly to pneumatic cylinder being used, in this case the number of force applied to press down. Besides that, calculation is also done to the dimension measurement of the design casting and in this case it concerns the height of the casing itself.nnThe result of the design still can be improved for its perfection by adding the vibrator so that the conblock produced is more solid and homogen. In addition, robotic arms can be employed to remove conblock from the conveyor to the 'keeping'.
