Currently, all of the companies around the world are in a competition to make their process more and more efficient and productive. The company that cannot compete in those things cannot also compete in their price. Maintenance strategy as part of maintenance management is one of the most important things for the company which operates the factory in order to increase the availability and productivity of the machines and at the end the also increase the quantity of goods and profit. nnPT. X has implemented the maintenance strategy but it seems that the effectivity of the current maintenance strategy was not well. There are some hidden problems that should be solve.nnThe analysis and results indicate that there are some problems related to the man power, method, communication and material. By concerning their strategy to overcome and eliminate the above problems, PT X will then save some maintenance cost and at the same time will increase the efficiency, the productivity of the processes and increase the availability of the machines and at the end the profit.
