The Impact of credit risk management towards financial performance of Indonesian listed banks (2013-2017)
The aim of this study is to identify about how does credit risk management affecting the financial performance of banks in Indonesia on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of 2013-2017. Also explaining how does the credit risk management appliance will affecting one bank to another bank and the economic growth of a country itself. This study includes dependent and independent variables that are the indicators of credit risk management and financial performance of the banks. The independent variables which the indicator of credit risk management consist of 2 variables, which are Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Where the dependent variables that indicates the financial performance consist of 2 variables as well, which are Return on Assets (ROA) and Return of Equity (ROE). This study will be using panel data regression to analyse the annual data of several listed banks in Indonesia that collected from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The study conclude that Financial Performance of bank is reduced or damaging because of poor management of Credit Risk. All the result has been discussed in this study.
