A model room temperature and lightm intensity control using Siemens s7-300
In tea leaf and goods storage warehouses the temperature and humidity need to be stable. To fulfill this requirement a room temperature and light intensity control is used in order to protect the goods from direct sunlight and high temperatures i.e. over 29 degree Celsius. rn To fulfill the requirement the author used a Programmable Logic Control (PLC) produced by SIEMENS and available in the Swiss German University Laboratory with type S7-300 CPU 314 IFM. The PLC controls the room temperature and protects the goods from direct sunlight by using sensors.rn If the room temperature exceeds the temperature range, the PLC actuates the fan to cool down the room temperature. When the sun rises in the morning and at sunset in the evening the shutter blocks direct sunlight from entering the room.
