Web based remote control and monitoring of a motor plant
The internet has revolutionized the way people communicate. Business can quickly share information with their customers; engineers can design, manufacture, and test products more effectively. Web-enabled applications have changed the automation industry by their advanced technology that are not merely an advantage, but a necessity for any company which wants to remain competitive. The thesis aim was to design a web application based on implementation of remote automation technology. With the introduction of programs such as LabVIEW, it is now possible to integrate real time programming of a plant site with a web remote application. A plant system can be remotely controlled from anywhere. Networking technologies today have greatly advanced the development of remote control technology. Excellent network quality and excellently managed network architecture result in excellent performance by web remote applications.
