The international bachelor's degree of business program in three universities in Jakarta: a competition analysis
In the globalization era, the needs of higher education especially in the business area have become more important. The three international universities are Swiss German University, Universitas Indonesia International, and Bina Nusantara International. They are among the names of the higher international institutions which provide the undergraduate business programs in Jakarta.rnrnThe objectives of the study are to analyze the three international universities regarding the advantages that they have, the competition level among them, and analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that each of them have.rnrnThe study is conducted by using primary and secondary data. The primary data is being taken by conducting a focused group discussion with the respondents from each of the three universities, and the secondary data is obtained from literature research and other secondary resources. The approach used in this study is qualitative in nature. Porter's five forces of competitive advantage are also employed in this research to see the competition level involving the three international universities. The outcome of this study will provide valuable academic information regarding the international business program offered by the three international universities.
