Designing and constructing a robot pipe crawler
This project is intended to produce a robot capable of travelling through a network of pipes for the purpose of inspection from inside. A number of experimental studies have explored the concepts of robots that travel inside pipe networks for purposes of inspection, cleaning , or repair. The authors undertook the design and implementation of such a robot as a Mechatronics student thesis project with the aim of investigating several new improvements on this idea.
