Designing an automatic intravenous (iv) controller
In this project, the author aim to optimize the work of nurses and reduce any related ineffective works. If we observe in the hospital, nurses always checking the drop of the intravenous liquid by the time they give intravenous to the patient. They check how many liquid drops to the intravenous regulator tube in a minute to check whether the dosage is adequate for the patient's body. In order to replace that activity, the author creates this device. By using this device, the author deems nurse's work will be more efficient and effective. Moreover, every time nurse re-checks patient's heart pulse, nurse does not need to re-check the intravenous flow rate to the patient's body. They simply have to look at the LCD and check whether the flow rate is still the same as the first time they had set it. This device will leave time for nurses to do other more important jobs rather than undertaking the unnecessary checking activity that has been replaced by this device.
