Study and analysis of the effectiveness of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): a post-implementation case study at PT. Merpati Nusantara Airlines
The objective of this thesis is to find out how effective is the ERP systems on the post-implementation stage in the organization. The purpose of this thesis is to identify organization's area to target for future development. This thesis was using case study research method. A model for measuring the effectiveness of ERP system in the post-implementation stage was developed by the author including evaluation criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's ERP investment. Overall, the result found that ERP system in the post-implementation stage was quite effective but with some improvement required. Although ERP system in the post-implementation stage was quite effective, the organization's also encountered many problems. These results indicate that organization's investment in ERP system was quite effective, but it will be better if the organization eliminate some problems in the post-implementation stage.
