Designing and constructing of wind generator by means of membrane vibration
The main purpose of this thesis work is to design and construct wind rngenerator by means of membrane vibration and produce electricity for rnsmall applications. The wind generator consists of the following parts: rnmembrane belt, permanent magnets, mechanical body, and coil wire. There rnare bridge rectifier and smoother on the electrical aspect.rnrnThis wind generator is designed with one type of belt, four permanent rnmagnets, and two coil wires with about three thousand numbers of turns. rnAs the belt vibrates caused by the wind, the magnet will oscillate in rnand out from the coil wires and produce AC voltage. This will be rnprocessed further by bridge rectifier and smoother then change it into rnDC voltage.rnrnAfter doing some experiment, the wind generator is capable of producing rnmaximum 7 V_DC under no load and the current below 1 mA. Lastly, the rnwind generator is able to turn on two small red LEDs.
