Designing and constructing mechatronic entertainment laser projection system with hand held paddles using microcontroller
This project intend to digitally controlled laser projection system to create a sphere or circular image onto any flat surface. Hand held paddles with light sensors around it are given to each player. This project has three main parts which are laser projection system, hand held paddles and microcontrollers board. First, the laser beam will be projected into the rotating mirror that will make a circular reflected beam. The circular beam can be steered using two stepper motors. Second, each player will hold a paddle surrounding by three ligth sensors that can detect when the laser beam hits the paddle. Finally, the microcontroller will be control the system of the circular reflected beam so it can be move and bounce smoothly around the playing fiela. The microcontroller also control the detection that coming from two paddles.
