Designing and constructing microcontroller based mapping robot using ultrasonic sensors and wireless communications
This thesis project is intended to create a mobile robot that is capable rnof travelling through an environment for the purpose of mapping. rnMicrocontroller AVR will be the brain of the mobile robot. Ultrasonic rnsensors will be used as the main sensor that will measure the distances rnbesides encoders and Infra Red sensors that will provide additional rnmeasurement about distances; all output data from the mobile robot's rnsensors will be sent to the PC using the Bluetooth device. All data will rnbe processed in the PC then the graphical user interface (GUI) will rndisplay the maps.
