Investigating and analyzing system identification method with bode plot gain analysis
The purpose of this thesis is analyzing system identification method with Bode plot gain analysis, which can be used to estimate transfer function of a system. Rather than by using analytical method from first principles, system identification gives alternative method of calculating it in faster and more efficient way, while still including the effect of the environment and noises. The methodology is by giving sinusoidal/white noise signals to a system, in this case is permanent magnet DC motor; logging its movement; and then make the frequency response analysis and Bode Plot. From the Bode plot, the transfer function can be estimated. The result is that although the transfer functions made can be slightly different due to the different models, they still can perceive the characteristics of the Bode plot. The choice of which should be used depends on the usage later.
