Building control panel and control program for a working model of tornado and displaying the result of data analysis
The main purpose of this thesis is to build a control panel and control rnprogram for a working model of TORNADO. The control panel will operate rnthe TORNADO in two modes: automatic and manual. In automatic mode, rnmaneuvers are created through the software and in manual mode, maneuvers rnare created through joysticks and brake buttons. A microcontroller will rnget all safety data from the seats by Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) rncommunication with another microcontroller in the gondola, and then it rnwill display them to 20 Light Emitting Diodes (LED). A character LCD is rnused for mode selections and some parameters display. Besides that, a rngraphic LCD is also used to help the user in knowing the modes rnmaneuvers; it displays the animations and explanation for each mode in rnthe control panel.
