Marketing analysis of a product from PT. Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya
This thesis is regarding one of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya; Gery Bismart the purpose of this thesis is to help the company to increase the product's sales in the modern market. This research could also help the company to understand the problems of their product in the modern market. rnrnThe methods that is being used for this thesis is qualitative. In this thesis the author uses two different methods in collecting the data. The first is by using market observation and the second method is using interviews. In market observation the author visit stores in the modern market and understand Gery Bismart in the market. In interview the author will interview with the marketing department of the company and also interview with the consumers.rnrnThere are several findings in the thesis that is found by the author. One of the findings is that the product placement in the market is not yet optimal. This creates some problems for Gery Bismart and is also one of the problems why the product in the modern market is not good.rnrnIn conclusion, the target market that is chosen by the company is correct. The price that is set by the company is cheap and reasonable in their consumer's opinion. There are still problems that need to be solved to help boost the modern market so that the company could get more profit.
