Analysis of divers' preferences in choosing a dive site: a case study of Bali as a dive destination of divers from Jakarta
The purpose of this thesis is to identify the preferences of certified divers from Jakarta in choosing Bali as a dive destination. It explains what their preferences in order of importance are and the contribution to future research in establishing a dive package. This thesis also investigates the pull factors of Bali as a dive destination according to certified divers from Jakarta point of view. The primary data are collected by distributing questionnaires in dive centers and dive clubs to certified divers in Jakarta who have dived in Bali. The secondary data are gathered through internet and references books. Divers' preferences in choosing a dive site in order of importance are dive attraction, dive expense, dive guide, accommodation, and distance. Moreover, divers from Jakarta agree that Bali has various pull factors as a dive destination that attracts them to dive in Bali.
