The challenge in enhancing the professionalism in golf as one of tourist attractions in Indonesia through young generations - a case study/analysis on Golf Goes to School" (GGTS) in Bandung"
The purpose of this research is to evaluate golf tourism in Indonesia and find out challenges to become a golf destination through the development of professional golfers from young. rnThis inductive-explanatory research uses qualitative and quantitative data, which obtained through questionnaires and interviews then tabulated and processed in excel and transformed into graphs for analysis, using significance test (t test).rnIn order to make golf as a major attraction in Indonesia, several aspects need to be improved. The most important one is that golf needs to be introduced to children. Promotion to people so they could aware and interested in golf, with support in facilities in both quantity and quality is also important. The program for developing professional golfers and skill from the golfers could help Indonesia in introducing golf.rnGolf Goes To School (GGTS) is an organization that tries to create professional golfers from young. Even though GGTS has been contributing enough to the development of golf, there are some problems appear during the execution. Although most people has a vision on the success for becoming a professional golfer or athlete, but still many parents aren't giving full support for their children becoming one.
