Developing and constructing a model of vertical wind tunnel for education and entertainment purposes
This thesis project is intended to develop and construct a model of a vertical wind tunnel for education and entertainment purposes. The mainframe model will have a contour shape and it will be made from metal with a polygonal shape made from glass at the top for the test section. This project is aimed to compare and plot the additional supporting information like pressure, speed and power output delivered by the main fan using a pressure sensor as the media and a calibrated wind speed meter. The object will be put in the middle of the test section and the sensor will be put in the neck of the contour frame. For the main control station, a combination of PC and microcontroller will be used.
