Design and construct prototype of moving product conveyor system based on real-time computer vision
This thesis provides a prototype of moving product conveyor system which base on computer vision. The rotary arm is used as a products mover, which has a duty to catch a material and transfer it to next conveyor. The computer vision system is act as a trigger for arm to start moving. Motion template is used to detect the moving and passing material. Some improvements of motion template had been done due to limitation and the purpose of thesis. Communication between computer and microcontroller is being done via serial communication RS-232. The function of microcontroller is to control the motor of rotary arm. When microcontroller receive signal from computer, it trigger motor to rotate the arm. Moreover the analyzed of the system will be discussed and explained.
