Designing and developing a rinsing machine for an automated and flexible bottling machine
The objective of this thesis is to design, develop, construct and test a machine that will be able to rinse bottle water. This rinsing machine is part of a flexible automation system of bottling machine that consists of three other different machines, which are: filling, capping, and packaging machine. The purpose for the rinsing machine is to ensure that all necessary part of the bottle will be rinsed. This machine is equipped with a transportation system which is an air conveyor system. The actuator that is used for this machine is pneumatic components and motor. Sensors are use to control and getting feedback for the rinsing machine. Programmable Logic Controller is used as the controller. Consequently, improvements maybe necessary to improve the quality of the rinsing machine as well as the bottling machine.
