Designing and developing a capping machine for an automated and flexible water bottling machine
This thesis is made to design and develop a machine which will be able to put a cap and tighten it properly to the water filled bottle. The capping machine is one of the process stations of an automation system in a bottle water production system which consists of another three more process stations. The complete systems are rinsing machine, filling machine, capping machine, and packaging machine. The objective of the capping machine is to put the cap in the lip of the bottle and tighten it properly. This machine will be able to be synchronized with the filling station and packaging station in the bottles transfer system. The system is an indexed table and a hanger to put the bottle. Different types of sensors and pneumatic are installed to support the system to run better. The control system of the machine is a programmable Logic Controller or PLC which has been a standard controller of industrial machine.
