Designing and constructing automated resistor measurement and sorting device using microcontroller
The main purpose of the thesis work is to implement the three aspects of Mechatronics: Mechanical-, Electrical- and Software-Engineering. Another purpose is to simulate advance storage system by using measurement technique as its major role. A lot of experiment was taken by studying the concept of how a digital Ohm-meter works. By applying the Ohm's Law to the measurement subsystem and signal conditioning by means of constructing a variable gain instrumentation amplifier the first subsystem is made. The second subsystem consists of mechanical design and construction of a carrier runs on three-axis rail maneuver system to simulate the sorting subsystem. Software and programming approach comes into play mostly in this subsystem.
