The objective of this thesis is to find the best classification algorithm that will be used for Intrusion Detection System. The scope of this thesis work is usinf KDD CUP 1999 data and Weka classification tool to find the best performance and accuracy. The study is on analyzing the classified Intrussion Dectection System log data using some classification algorithm methods such as Support Vector Machine, and Decision Tree.
