Impact of weekend banking service on its customers' behaviour
This thesis examines the phenomenon of the emergence of weekend banking in Indonesia and its impact on changing customers banking behavior. Apart from the customers banking behavior, this research emphasized on the customers satisfaction of the element of weekend banking and customers' preferences of choosing a bank after the emergence of weekend banking. rnrnThis research used inductive-descriptive-quantitative approach method. The primary data is gathered from questionnaires. The analysis of the questionnaires is using a t testrnand confidence interval calculation. Primary qualitative is gathered through the annual report of several banks, in order to analyze the overall development of the supporting banking transaction media. All data is correlated based on the theoretical perspective and logical explanation. rnrnIt is concluded that customers see weekend banking as their options in doing banking transaction. Most customers use weekend banking to do a deposit transaction, therefore it is recommended for banks to provide a cash deposit machine in many branches. This research finds out that the most dissatisfying element in weekend banking is the distribution of the outlet. Even after the emergence of weekend banking, apparently customers most priority in choosing a bank is the ATM.rnTherefore it is recommended for banks to increase the development of ATM or widely distribute the weekend banking outlets if banks still want to have weekend banking as their service feature.
