A study on inventory management of PT Indomarco Prismatama

This research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The author will be doing a direct interview with Indomaret related staff to gather some information about the distribution process in Indomaret, starting from suppliers until distribution process into Indomaret stores. Other than that, the author also collected some secondary data in order to complete the research.rnBased on findings and analysis, Indomaret Indonesia has already performed a good system in their delivery system. In other parts it is also stated that Indomaret transportation vehicles have already fulfilled the need for delivery within one area. From direct interview the author finds that Indomaret Indonesia already has an effective distribution line regarding distribution chain to its inventory management. rnBased on EOQ calculation, Indomaret Indonesia has increased in their inventory side. These conditions happen because of the increasing number of stores every year. It means that Indomaret trends are growing in positive way every year.
