The differences between private companies and public listed companies' approaches towards corporate social responsibility (csr)
Nowadays, the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility is getting more attention from the society, especially in Indonesia. People and companies are becoming more aware about this matter. Moreover, people and company begin to pour their understanding of this issue into actions. Corporate Social Responsibility is company's awareness and understanding that they have other responsibilities besides generating profits which is they have the responsibility to satisfied and perform the business in the best interest of all their stakeholders. rnCorporate social responsibility can be perform in several ways. Company's health insurance policy, company's activity that involved the community, company's donation to social organization, these are some of the example of corporate social responsibility activity.rnThe purpose of this thesis is to analyze the similarities and dissimilarities between private companies and public listed companies' approaches towards their Corporate Social Responsibility activity. rnFor the purpose of this study, the author has chosen three public listed companies and three private companies to be analyzed on their Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
