Performance of General Motors Autoworld Indonesia in sales related to the popularity of Chevrolet Captiva among Indonesian people
General Motors AutoWorld Indonesia is a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation. Global crisis which occurred in 2007 has made General Motors Corporation in United States collapsed. Despite of this situation, the condition of General Motors subsidiaries in Asia is still prominent, including in Indonesia. For the past three years, General Motors AutoWorld Indonesia has made a good sales performance since the launched of Chevrolet Captiva in 2007. The company still can survive and made sale although global crisis is became a big problem for Indonesian customers. Through this research, the sales performance of General Motors AutoWorld Indonesia related to Chevrolet Captiva will be investigated. The research will be elaborate how General Motors AutoWorld Indonesia survived from global crisis and the opinions of Indonesian people about Chevrolet Captiva.rnTo fulfill its purpose, the sales performance from 2005 until 2009 will be shown to compare the sales before and after the launched of Chevrolet Captiva. The important factors to survive, actions, and record of the company in Indonesia to develop Chevrolet brand reputation will be given and also the opinion, knowledge's of Indonesian people about Chevrolet Captiva will be carried out.
