GCG is a key success for the company to grow and benefit in the long term, as well as winning the global business competition. In order to have sustainability every company have to implementing the GCG and its principles. The authors think the weaknesses of many Indonesian's companies in implementing principles of GCG are to become transparent and accountable company. This also applied for SOE, which have more complicated bureaucracy. Companies are not willing to be transparent because they afraid that their strategies will be discovered by competitors. rnThere are also many conflict interest or agency problems among Board of Directors (BOD), Board of Commissioners (BOC) and shareholders. rnThe primary purpose of this research is to understand Good Corporate Governance and to find out the company's compliance with GCG principles regarding Transparency and Accountability. Since Antam have a good record in these area, the author want to see how this company compliance with these principles.
