Analysis of corporate social responsibility in Marathon International Petroleum Indonesia Limited (MIPIL) for the year 2007-2008 based on cost recovery regulation and work program and budget
Along with the increasing CSR endorsement in Indonesia, many foreign oilrncompanies are still blurred with the CSR implementation and reporting regarding therncost recovery regulations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate CSR inrnoil and gas industry performed by MIPIL by discovering the framework through CostrnRecovery Minister Regulation and Work Program and Budget. The method used inrnthis study is interviews, content analysis with the tabulation tables using PTKrn017/III/2005 Guideline. The variable measured were the population of CSR expensesrnas unit of analysis over two years in MIPIL. The study disclosed that the sustainablerndevelopment solutions implemented by MIPIL are concerning on the local communityrnin Pasangkayu field operations apart from comply with the regulations. Moreover thernstudy reveals that the CSR reporting has satisfied the cost recovery regulations and inrnsettlement according to WP&B
