The influence of online games to student performance in Swiss German University
Nowadays Online game is like a “disease” spread amongst the social lives of the teenager. It has entered not only within high school area but also to universities like SGU. It influences the performance as well as the learning process of the students. This purpose aimed to identify the perception of students in SGU toward online games, as well as identifying the perception of SGU students about their academic performance. Also this thesis will answer the hypothesis of online game that gives negative impact toward students of SGU. Based on the research online games give both positive and negative impact to the students. However, there is another perception that shows the quality of the students is not dependant on their academic performance.
