Jakarta's musical event attraction and the impact of the pornography bill on such event
This research is conducted to find out the impact that may or may not be caused by the recently passed Pornography Bill to Jakarta's musical event, the Java Jazz Festival in particular. As the Java Jazz Festival is the biggest jazz event in Asia and its ability to attract audience increases every year, this research learns whether the Bill has any effect on the event. This research uses inductive, descriptive and qualitative methods which include interviews conducted with individuals that are knowledgeable and credible in answering and giving opinions related to the subjects brought up in this research. Other sources include books and newspapers' online archives. With results gained from the research, findings include how the Pornography Bill cannot be implemented realistically in the society yet and that it has not made an impact on Jakarta's musical event attraction, in this case the annual Java Jazz Festival.
